The TAKAGI Research Group
Research Project
We are interested in the development of pi-electron (macro)molecules potentially applicable in field-effect transistor, photovoltaic cell, light-emitting diode, sensitive detection, and bio-imaging. We are discovering new synthetic methods for obtaining new materials from the viewpoint of the alignment, connection, and modulation of pi-electron systems. We believe that (macro)molecules with the well-defined structure have superior physics and outstanding functions. Also, we are recently addressing the development of novel polymerization system using pi-electron molecules as a catalyst. See leaflet2018 for details.
